Intro

Step into a week of strategy, creativity, and fun at our Foundation Chess Summer Camp in Katy.

Whether your child is brand new to chess or already playing competitively, this camp is designed to challenge, engage, and inspire. Students are grouped by skill level so each camper gets the right balance of instruction, practice, and growth.

Expert Coaching
Learn from experienced, passionate coaches who tailor instruction to each student’s level and help them build confidence over the board.

Structured Skill Development
Students explore all phases of the game—from openings and tactics to strategy and endgames—through engaging lessons and guided practice.

Guided Games & Real Improvement
Campers play supervised games with real-time feedback, helping them apply what they learn and improve quickly.

End-of-Week Tournament
Put new skills into action in a fun, in-house tournament. All students participate, and awards are given to celebrate effort and achievement.

Fun & Energy Throughout the Day
We keep the atmosphere engaging with brain breaks, team activities, and a balance of learning and play.

Closing

A full week of learning, competition, and fun in a supportive environment where students grow both on and off the board.
