Intro

Join us for a dynamic week of chess, strategy, and fun at our Foundation Chess Summer Camp in Sugar Land.
 

Whether your child is just starting out or already competing, this camp offers the right balance of instruction, practice, and challenge. Students are grouped by skill level so each camper can develop at their own pace in a supportive and engaging environment.

 

What Students Experience

 

Expert Coaching
Learn from experienced, passionate coaches who tailor instruction to each student’s level and help build confidence and strong thinking habits.

 

Structured Skill Development
Students work through openings, tactics, middlegame planning, and endgames using clear instruction and hands-on practice.

 

Guided Games & Real Improvement
Campers play supervised games with feedback and coaching, helping them apply concepts and improve quickly.

 

End-of-Week Tournament
Students participate in a fun, in-house tournament to showcase what they’ve learned, with awards to recognize effort and achievement.

 

Fun & Energy Throughout the Day
We keep things engaging with brain breaks, team activities, and a healthy balance of focused learning and play.

 

Closing
A full week of growth, competition, and fun in a positive environment where students build skills both on and off the board.
