Intro
Join us for an exciting week of chess, strategy, and fun at our Foundation Chess Summer Camp in Sugar Land.
Whether your child is just learning the game or already competing, this camp provides the right balance of instruction, practice, and challenge. Students are grouped by skill level so each camper can grow at their own pace in a supportive environment.
What Students Experience
Expert Coaching
Learn from experienced coaches who adjust instruction to each student’s level and help build confidence, focus, and strong thinking habits.
Structured Skill Development
Students work through openings, tactics, middlegame planning, and endgames using engaging lessons and hands-on practice.
Guided Games & Real Improvement
Campers play supervised games with feedback from coaches, helping them improve quickly and understand their decisions.
End-of-Week Tournament
Students participate in a fun in-house tournament where they can apply what they’ve learned. Awards are given to recognize effort and achievement.
Fun & Energy Throughout the Day
We keep things engaging with brain breaks, activities, and a healthy mix of learning and play.
Closing
A full week of learning, growth, and fun where students build skills, confidence, and a deeper love for the game.
