Guided by the experienced Candidate Master John Hendrick, with an impressive 17 years of coaching expertise, this course promises a rich, interactive learning experience. Dive into the world of chess with unique online features. Participate in interactive "studies" on lichess.org, where you can actively move pieces and engage with the game hands-on. The course elevates your learning experience with innovative games like 'Puzzle Racer' and online tournaments, ensuring that each session is not just educational but also incredibly fun. Each class is meticulously structured to enhance your understanding of chess. From the foundational basics to the nuances of strategic and tactical play, every aspect is covered to cater to a diverse range of player skills and interests. Running for the first half of the spring semester, the course includes 8 classes, held every Thursday from January 18th to March 7th. Don't worry if you miss this window; a second half of the spring semester course will also be available, ensuring no one misses out on the opportunity to improve their game.
